What society is doing..

Founded with a vision to harness the potential of bacteriophages in addressing global health challenges, the Society for Bacteriophage Research and Therapy (SBRT) was conceptualized in 2017 and formally registered on 19 December 2018. The society is dedicated to advancing phage research, particularly in the context of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), by promoting the use of bacteriophages as a promising alternative for combating drug-resistant infections. SBRT serves as a collaborative platform for scientists, clinicians, and researchers to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and foster partnerships aimed at accelerating phage-based innovations and therapeutic solutions.
